
Noble County Young Professionals Network (YPN) is a group of young leaders, a committee of the Kendallville Area Chamber of Commerce. The Network was created in 2015 and its mission is to network and strengthen the communities of Noble County by supporting each other and being a voice for the next generation of leaders. The group will use its passion for community to empower and ignite leaders in the community to develop the communities that they want to live, work, and play in!
Key initiatives
Provide networking opportunities for young professionals across Noble County
Partner with other Chamber members to ensure positive community engagement
Recruit young people to the group to ensure the next generation continues to learn and grow
Provide mentorship for young individuals for professional growth
Volunteer in the community to make it a better place for all
Demonstrate that Civic Engagement can also be fun!
Member requirements
To become a member of Noble County YPN, the person should live or work in Noble County.
The person should also be between the ages of 18-40
Members must regularly attend and participate in meetings and events hosted by NCYPN.
Members must be in good standing on annual due fees and must be members of the Kendallville Area Chamber of Commerce
Annual dues
Each YPN member will pay annual dues. Current dues are $50.00
Leadership
Each year, leadership positions will be offered, nominated, and voted upon. Leadership roles must include the following:
President – responsible for agenda and running monthly meetings
Secretary – responsible for taking meeting minutes and submitting to the Kendallville Chamber (Requirement: all minutes must be kept on file at the Chamber of Commerce)
Treasurer – will report to the Kendallville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber will hold and distribute funds
Membership – responsible for member relations and membership recruitment
Events – responsible for ensuring events are held, completed, and successful
