Kite Day at the Mid-America Windmill Museum

Colorful kites of all sizes and shapes fly high over the grounds and serve as a sure sign of spring. This annual event, held on Mother’s Day, is a tradition that began in 2001. Click here to visit their website!

Independence Day

Have some fun while listening to the Fort Wayne Philharmonic (Patriotic Pops) perform a variety of songs followed by fireworks over Bixler Lake!

Noble County 4H Fair


This event is held at the Noble County Fair Grounds, and showcases the achievements and and talents of local 4H members in various areas such as agriculture, livestock, crafts, and more.

First Saturday in August

Each year, Kid City takes over the Noble Co. Fairgrounds and serves as a place to educate and inspire youth from. The event is staged in a pseudo-city made up of five neighborhoods filled with fun, tangible learning experi-ences for children young and old. Becky Calhoun: 260-636-2320.

Kendallville Car Show

This fun and unique car show attracts unique cars to downtown Kendallville each year. Come on out and see the variety for yourself while enjoying music and food vendors. Prizes are awarded in several categories.


Art on Main

Each year, Kendallville invites local artists to participate in a public art exhibition, which is then displayed on Main Street throughout the summer. One year it was birdhouses…another it was benches. Each year is something different and unique. At the end of the summer during the Kendallville Car Show, the items are auctioned off to the highest bidder and prizes are awarded.

Apple Festival

The Apple Festival, Kendallville’s “signature” festival, is a pioneer-themed weekend and is full of music, entertainment, food, demonstrations, art & crafts, and so much more. Come early if you want a good parking spot!

Trick or Treat on Main

Trick or Treat safely with your family in downtown Kendallville. Storefront merchants will be passing out all sorts of candies and confections from 10-11am.

Windmill Winter Wonderland

The Windmill Winter Wonderland, an annual holiday tradition at the museum, amazes and enchants all who have the heart of a child! Enjoy all of the Christmas lights & decor and get a chance to meet Santa!

Kendallville Christmas Parade


Line up on Main Street to enjoy the beautiful Christmas floats, the marching band, and the Christmas spirit! Make sure your children bring a bag to fill with candy and treats.
